Collaborative film-making
Man with a movie camera is a global collaboration movie, people from around the world are able to upload their own footage, software on Vertov's site then edits everyones seperage scenes together, creating a movie. Each day the footage is rotated to create a similar (but never the same) movie daily

Mezzo Modern Mezzo Distruto (half modern half destroyed) was a public art installation displayed in Gillet Square. The project is based on how residents of hackney percieve their space with the main focus on architecture. Startx invited residents of hackney to upload footage which was used in the final installation.
Deptford TV is a documentation of the regeneration of Deptford over several years from 2005. Many people shot various elements of the fim footage ranging from CCTV footage to footage shot by students artists, film makers and ordinary members of the Public. Various organisations also got involved in the process:
