Final Development
My initial idea was to have convert a standard book narrative into a flat map where the reader can physically unveil hidden areas of the map depending on which route/narratice path they wish to take. Below (under the first image) on the left is my very first sketch model of a narrative with tabs that the reader can physically pull out to discover the next element of the narrative. I soon moved away from this idea as each square got marginally smaller with each tab. Eventually the squares would be so small there would be no room to fit the narrative on it. I therefore have changed my idea to an 'unfolding' structure instead.
Below is my final prototype, i have colour coded the choices (blue) the narrative (red) and the end conclusion (green), this gives the reader clarity and avoids confusion for them.

The initial idea for this booklet derived from the idea of the books where your referenced to the page number depending on the desicion you make. I came up with this because i find it much more tactile and interactive physically opening a flap for the choice seems like more fun.
Prototypes and Models
On the left is an image of a sketch of my first idea of pulling tabs to reveal the next narrative scene. Each tab has a choice written on it.
Critisisms and evaluation of final.

-if i was to return to this project and develop this further, i would make the booklet bigger to encorperate images and illustrations.
- Some parts of the booklet are unclear and a little bit confusing.
- Refolding the booklet is also troublesome as you have to remember the way you folded the booklet out inorder to fold it back to its origonal shape. If the book was alot more complicated this would be particularly difficult.
